The agreement was formalised during a high-level engagement at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, with Vice President Kashim Shettima leading the Nigerian delegation on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The talks, attended by Colombia's Vice President Francia Márquez and senior officials including NEMA Director General Mrs. Zubaida Umar, underscored the importance of South–South cooperation in driving inclusive development.
