A new scholarship expansion programme has reached 51 communities in the Oworo District of Kogi State, extending education support to hundreds of students in a bid to strengthen human capital development and future SME growth.
The initiative, announced at a ceremony in Obajana, is designed to give young people in the region greater access to quality education, preparing them for roles that will feed into Nigeria's growing small and medium enterprise (SME) sector.
Beyond scholarships, the scheme also includes the provision of boreholes in selected communities, further boosting social development and laying the foundation for economic empowerment.
