The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to digital inclusion, as it announced on its official X handle the launch of the "One Student, One Computer & One Skill+" initiative in Benue State.
The programme, organised in partnership with Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) Plc, marked the graduation of the First Summer Tech Training in Makurdi, where over 80 youths gained hands-on skills in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software development, emerging technologies, and workplace readiness.

A highlight of the event was the induction of Digital Benue Children Ambassadors, a move to inspire a generation of young leaders who will champion technology adoption in their communities.
Representing the DG of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, the Director of Zonal Office Coordination, Mr. Ajayi Babajide, urged the graduates to wear their new roles with pride and responsibility, stressing that their skills and creativity could drive innovation and job creation for the nation.
