The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has opened talks with Ernst & Young (EY) India-Africa Super Region Initiative on strategic collaborations to strengthen Nigeria's digital economy.
At a meeting held at NITDA's headquarters in Abuja, the Agency's Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa, received the delegation led by officials of EY's India-Africa Initiative. The discussions centered on how both institutions can drive digital literacy, cybersecurity, and digital transformation — areas considered vital to building a resilient economy.
For Nigeria's small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the partnership holds promise in expanding access to technology solutions, improving digital skills, and safeguarding businesses against cyber threats. With SMEs making up over 90% of businesses in Nigeria, digital empowerment is expected to accelerate innovation and competitiveness.
