To ensure strong crop establishment and minimize weed pressure, both pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicides were applied. The goal is to improve productivity and support food security using efficient irrigation and smart inputs. Read also, NADF Executive Secretary, Mohammed A. Ibrahim, described the project as more than a farming site — calling it a blueprint for climate-smart, scalable agriculture. He said the initiative is designed to empower farmers, improve yields, and stimulate economic growth, particularly through better water management and high-standard agricultural practices. The team is committed to maintaining top-quality execution at every stage to ensure long-term benefits for both local farmers and the broader agricultural sector | | | |
