The move is designed to strengthen youth-focused programmes that create jobs and support small enterprises. During a meeting in Abuja, Minister Ayodele Olawande emphasized the need to align both agencies under one strategy. He said the partnership will cut duplication of efforts and direct resources into initiatives that benefit young entrepreneurs. The NYSC will mobilise corps members to drive innovation and support community-based enterprises. The CLTC will train young Nigerians in leadership and civic responsibility, preparing them to build sustainable small businesses. They added that it will also expand opportunities for SMEs by providing skills, mentorship, and access to enterprise support networks.
