International Breweries Plc, a member of AB InBev, is set to host the Kickstart 2025 Awards Ceremony, marking a decade of empowering young entrepreneurs and strengthening Nigeria's MSME ecosystem. The ceremony follows the completion of intensive bootcamp training for over 400 emerging business owners across the country.
The 2025 edition, themed "Sustain. Scale. Succeed: Building the Future of Nigerian Entrepreneurs," focused on equipping participants with vital business knowledge in marketing, finance, operations, and leadership. This year's programme also featured inclusive participation from People with Disabilities, reflecting the company's commitment to equal opportunity and innovation.

Through Kickstart, International Breweries has supported more than 3,000 entrepreneurs, disbursed ₦800 million in grants to 470 MSMEs, and created around 1,000 jobs in sectors such as agribusiness, technology, retail, circular packaging, and renewable energy. Over 80% of supported ventures remain active, demonstrating the programme's focus on sustainability and measurable impact.
The Awards Ceremony, scheduled for November 17, 2025, will celebrate top performers from the PitchFest, where entrepreneurs presented their business ideas to a panel of judges. Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will deliver the keynote address as Kickstart continues its mission to empower youth, scale small businesses, and build a resilient future for Nigeria's MSMEs.
