The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) is rolling out its 6th cycle of the Entrepreneurship Training Program (DBNETP), a golden opportunity for Nigerian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
This initiative is set to build the capacity of over 2,000 businesses nationwide, offering a blend of digital and in-person training along with the chance to secure significant grant funding.
For MSMEs looking to scale, DBNETP provides the essential skills to build bankable and sustainable businesses. The program offers grants of up to ₦1,000,000 for select businesses that excel in pitching sessions.
To be eligible, applicants must be Nigerian business owners aged 18 and above, operating a for-profit business within Nigeria.
The first step involves downloading the BizAid App and completing four mandatory courses with at least an 80% average score. The application deadline is September 6, 2024.
Selected businesses will benefit from high-quality entrepreneurship training, both virtually and at physical locations in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt.
Beyond the training, participants gain access to DBN and partner networks, opening doors for future funding opportunities. This program is a vital step for Nigerian MSMEs aiming for growth and stability.
