The visit aligns with President Tinubu's Agenda 7, aimed at creating jobs and boosting industrial growth. Senator Enoh pledged federal support for the sector and called the revival of UNTL "vital for restoring investor confidence and driving broader economic transformation." Read also: UNTL Chairman and Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, lamented the factory's 2022 closure, warning of its impact on youth unemployment and insecurity. He urged urgent federal action on power supply, smuggling, IP protection, and local textile patronage.
