Area Comptroller, Babatunde Olomu, said the system is designed to ease trade and reduce delays, assuring importers, freight forwarders, and SMEs that their patience will pay off. Read also, He noted that the Comptroller-General, Adewale Adeniyi, is in constant talks with the Nigerian Shippers Council to secure demurrage waivers and improve service efficiency. Customs officers have also been directed to work extra hours and weekends to clear backlogs and speed up cargo processing.
