Area Comptroller, Babatunde Olomu, said the system is designed to ease trade and reduce delays, assuring importers, freight forwarders, and SMEs that their patience will pay off. Customs officers have also been directed to work extra hours and weekends to clear backlogs and speed up cargo processing. Olomu stressed that Apapa Port remains strategic for trade growth, adding that the new platform will enhance opportunities for SMEs involved in import, export, and logistics services.
