Speaking in an interview with Arewa PUNCH, Namadi explained that the system will allow farmers to store harvests in certified warehouses and access loans from partner banks rather than sell at low prices during harvest. "At the right time, farmers can repay the bank and reclaim their crops. This will reduce wastage and stabilise incomes," he said. He disclosed that feasibility studies for a commodity market have been completed and approved by the State Executive Council, with talks ongoing with development partners to bring the project to life.
