The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) has opened talks with the Women's Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) to drive new initiatives that strengthen leadership and civic responsibility among Nigerian youth.
The courtesy visit, led by CLTC leadership, focused on building strategic collaboration with WRAPA to advance youth development while giving special attention to creating opportunities for young women in leadership.
According to the CLTC, the partnership aligns with its mandate of instilling values and civic responsibility. Officials said the collaboration would combine training, mentorship and advocacy to equip the next generation of leaders with skills for nation-building.
WRAPA commended CLTC's commitment to inclusivity, stressing that empowering young women in leadership roles is critical for equity and sustainable national growth. The organisation expressed readiness to work with CLTC on upcoming projects.
Both parties agreed to begin joint programmes that will promote values, civic engagement and leadership development, ensuring that Nigerian youths, particularly women, are well prepared to contribute to national progress.
