The Lagos State Government has released a traffic advisory ahead of the planned repair works on the Adeniji Adele Interchange Junction leading to CMS.
According to the statement, the rehabilitation will run from Sunday, October 12, to Sunday, November 23, 2025 — a six-week duration — with work scheduled daily between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
To minimize congestion, the state government said only one lane will be closed at a time, while the remaining lanes will remain open to traffic.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured residents that traffic management personnel would be stationed at the site to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles and reduce inconvenience during the period of repair.
Osiyemi appealed to motorists to obey traffic officers' directives and exercise patience, noting that the temporary lane diversion forms part of the traffic management plan for the road rehabilitation by the Federal Ministry of Works.
