The Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) has entered a strategic partnership with the Nigeria Police Force under its Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) initiative to promote safer communities and empower young people.
NECA's Director-General, Adewale-Smatt Oyerinde, said the collaboration focuses on preventive and developmental approaches to tackle social vices while equipping youths—especially girls—with leadership and digital skills.
As part of the partnership, NECA will support the Police's International Day of the Girl Child Summit 2025, themed "Girls' Vision for the Future", which will host over 500 students, educators, and community leaders in Abuja.

NECA will also provide facilitators for mentorship sessions, offer access to its Microsoft-backed AI Fluency Course, award scholarships to outstanding students, and donate learning materials to participants.
Oyerinde said the initiative aligns with NECA's commitment to gender inclusion, youth empowerment, and creating safe spaces for the Nigerian girl child to thrive.
