Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd., called for a balanced and contextualised energy transition that creates opportunities for small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) across the energy value chain. Ojulari emphasised that Africa must shape its own transition path by recognising natural gas as a transitional fuel, investing in clean cooking technologies, and using hydrocarbon revenues to fund renewables, infrastructure, and education.
