Zubara Global Services Limited has partnered with the Tech for Agriculture and Community Africa Initiative (TAC Africa) to establish the Afri AGRITECH Institute, an initiative designed to reduce crime and unemployment among vulnerable groups through smart agribusiness training and youth empowerment.
The programme will use agriculture and technology to equip young people, women, and smallholder farmers with agritech, business, and cooperative development skills, aiming to foster peace and create sustainable livelihoods in at‑risk communities.
Chief Executive Officer of Zubara Global Services, Promise Chizara, said the institute would bridge the gap between youth vulnerability and sustainable income, describing agriculture as a tool for both empowerment and violence prevention.

The initiative's activities will include agribusiness training bootcamps, youth‑led agritech hubs, cooperatives, and community outreach for peacebuilding, with the partners projecting a sixfold reduction in youth‑involved crime, 200 new agribusiness jobs, and 300 agritech jobs in targeted areas.
Zubara Farms, a subsidiary of Zubara Global Services, provides consulting and development services in agribusiness, while TAC Africa focuses on peacebuilding and youth empowerment through technology. Both organisations see the Afri AGRITECH Institute as a model for tackling unemployment and social instability through inclusive, tech‑driven agricultural development.
